Day 12 - Netzach - Skye & Yasmin
Today we had the privilege of visiting Mount Bental with our guide Rabbi Doron. As we overlooked the border of Syria and Mount Hermon he shared incredible stories about the struggles and triumphs of Israeli soldiers in combat throughout the years. This made us realise how truly special it is to be in Israel and to be part of the strong Jewish people - Am Yisrael. It made us feel so grateful for everything the IDF have done for us and our land.
A highlight of the day was being in a chocolate making workshop. We were able to see how Israel’s famous chocolatiers create their mouth watering chocolates. After we witnessed the surprisingly challenging process we were able to get creative and make our own chocolates.
We got back to the hotel and in excitement prepared for our first Netzach Shabbat together. After a meaningful Shule service we then head off to dinner. At dinner time we sang ruach songs and created many good and funny memories with one another.
To end off the incredible night we all came together in a powerful tisch. This tisch had an added element of ruach as we all felt so inspired that we literally could not remain in our seats - so we began to dance. We felt so connected to one another and this experience we were sharing. It was the perfect way to end off the evening.
We are very excited for what’s to come in the following weeks and for many more shabbatot together.
