We would like to thank our partners; Y2i and the Moriah Foundation, for their generous support in making IST possible for so many of our students.
The IST experience forges a deep and long-lasting sense of Jewish identity in all those who participate and this immersive program is pivotal in securing the future of our Jewish community. One of IST’s primary aims is to consolidate much of what the students have learned throughout their school career as the capstone Jewish program.
Participants begin with one week in Poland where they are exposed to the stark contrast between the vibrancy of Jewish life that once was, and the death that accompanied one of the greatest atrocities that humankind has ever known. Their journey continues with six weeks in Israel through a wealth of fun, educational and spiritual encounters.
IST offers the opportunity for students to hear from world-class educators across the spectrum, from inspirational madrichim to seasoned teachers and fascinating personalities, encouraging conversations and the development of meaningful relationships through peer-based education.
