Shabbat 2 - Netzach - Shira

Finally, we made it to Shabbos!! After a long and great week, we got ready and dressed to take Shabbos photos by the scenic view of ayelet hashachar! We headed off to shul, the welcoming atmosphere of the residents encouraged us all to get involved. Gabe reminded us the importance of Shabbos through sharing his journey and Kovi compared gym gains to Tefillah and created a great open house environment for questions to interrogate rav kov. Sam Kaplan led Kaballat Shabbat and Adam Ber gave a Dvar Torah.

We all loved dinner, superior to the caesar (and lehava) fuelling and carb-loaded for the huge game!!! We headed off to the tisch where we heard some incredible messaged from our friends and our mads, with gratitude being a common theme. We all were reminded how much we appreciate our family as we miss them so much over Shabbos. We sang our favourite songs ending on adon olam as always and headed of to bed, definitely no later than curfew at 11pm.

We thanked Hashem and lee lee for the well needed sleep in! We headed off to Musaf at 10:30am after we were treated with the variety of Israeli milo and cornflakes. Once again we loved the atmosphere in the small Shul where we davened with Kavanah#moriahproud. We headed off of an early lunch at 11:30 where PASTA was found and food was devoured!!! Our madrichim hosted amazing Chaburot about various different topics like Jews brushing their teeth and how do we prove the validity of Judaism. Our mads then questioned us, making us think about of opinion states on Judaism, Moriah, Israel and the IDF.

During our free time some intense cheer training went down to secure the win against lehava💪💪. We had Seudsh Shlishit and once again Kovi shook his Tzitzit.

We went down to the soccer pitch where we all engaged in a beautiful Havdallah and Natan leaded an enthusiastic sha sha shavua tov! We went to get ready and hyped got the big game ahead, all our cheer leaders got their hair and make up done and we all proudly repped the netzach blue!

We warmly welcomed our fellow friends from the other side with some cheers reminding them who the better side really is and before we knew it cheers and pre game warm ups and hype were taking place with the intense match to follow. Unfortunately, netzach went down, but they went down in spirit loosing to Lehava 3-1 with Alex Tanchel scoring an incredible goal! The cheers were both incredible but the girls in black and blue dominated the pitch!

We were mesmerised by the site of hot pizza and gladly ate it as we watched the soccer roos loose to Argentina outside on the big screen. We said our goodbyes to our friends from the other side, attempting to get the glitter off our faces. We went to sleep after another great day in Israel, excited for the next!
